DYNOMite Pro 2000 Water Brake Engine Dynamometer

Our engine testing facility is equipped with a DYNO-mite Dynamometer utilizing cutting edge data acquisition with capabilities of monitoring and recording dozens of parameters continuously on certified engines up to 400 HP.  This fully calibrated unit not only satisfies the FAA requirement for testing engines required by the original manufacturer after overhaul, but is also useful for those who built their own engine, experimental or certified, and would like to conduct proof testing before installation on the airframe.  Continental, Lycoming or whatever engine you have can be adapted to testing on this unit, so call and reserve your test cell time today!

• Run data is saved and printed for your records
• Runs are conducted exceeding minimum requirements from the manufacturer at overhaul
• Post overhaul typical run times are between 2-3 hour logged and recorded sessions
• Additional hourly cell session rates available upon request

Minimum diagnostic monitoring includes:

• RPM
• Manifold Pressure (InHg)
• Separate cylinder head temperatures
• Separate exhaust gas temperatures
• Turbine temperature (if applicable)
• High/Low fuel pressures (if applicable)
• Fuel Flow (if required)
• Oil pressure(s)- (several if possible)
• Oil temperature
• Charging system voltage (if applicable)
• Ambient temperature, pressure, humidity and run duration
